Tea for Two

Just in is the quaintest little two seater 1950s table and chair ensemble. They are perfect for the small kitchen nook (excuse the pun) or the verandah in Summer (apparently it is on its way soon )
Tea and coffee pots optional extras but a sweet set and ready to walk out the door right now.

Apparently Summer is coming and so we here at Nook Vintage have been sourcing the prettiest frocks we can get to brighten up the store. Above is the poppy maxi dress which is all cotton and has a drawstring waist. Just add clogs and it is effortless chic.

Mad Hatter

Not sure if this is Paul Weller as too shy to ask but found this lookalike in Melbourne pre the gig at the Forum. In true modernist style he grunted ok to a photo and then refused to smile...bit precious I know but it is rocknroll..
The purple hat was a little clockwork orange a little St Trinians and a whole lot of fun !!

Mod day afternoon

This is Ollie and he is the smartest most handsome gentleman and to get in the mood of Paul Weller or God as we prefer to call him coming to town Ols donned his best cravatte.
In true modernist style we also could not get a smile out of him .

Oh no I was meant to be a brunette!!

I recently found this amazing old retro free standing hair drier and could not resist having a play with it. It fully works well and I am deciding whether to turn it into a lamp- how cool would it look in a hair salon or a 50s diner for example.
Sadly my poor model sat under there a bit too long with the control knob and look what happened...
